Senior Session with A (The end)...

This was another attempt to shoot from a different perspective.  I stood at the top of a staircase with A down below.  I asked him to turn his body and look towards his left (my right) and to turn only his head towards me when I called his name.  I thought it worked really well to capture a natural smile.  Of course, he's a great looking kid!

I have not recovered complete mobility yet, so I had to try to be creative to capture him from different angles.  I really kind of like how this turned out.  It certainly accentuates his height!

We had interesting weather that day, so the light was always changing.  We even had some rain, which worked to our benefit. It's rare to have the opportunity to shoot in Crepe Myrtle Alley without a crowd.  And I love his reflection in the upper shot because of the wet pavement.  I even decided to do a jump shot, tho' I am not too good at capturing action.  It only took me about 5 tries.  Ha ha!  He was a good sport though.  He's used to jumping since he is a pole vaulter.

A couple of weeks ago I went to the Arboretum for the first time since my accident.  I had promised to do this session a few months earlier and they were kind enough to wait until I was well enough to do it.  I was really good for me to have the opportunity to be creative again.  The hardest part about the session was sitting in the car for the drive (ouch...).  The walking was fine though, especially since I made this guy carry my gear.  Ha ha!

Rewind to Abigail's birthday...

Jenny reminded me last week that I had never edited these photos from January.  They were shot shortly before my spill on the ice and my subsequent hiatus from sitting at the computer.  I just love this one...so natural and peaceful.  Hannah is such a sweet big sister.

I bought sunglasses for the girls last week and they had fun modeling them.  More cute photos to follow (as soon as I have time to process).  Looking so grown up!
