Candlelight and crystal...
One day our challenge was candlelight. I'd never shot anything by candlelight before except birthday cake...so this was a fun one. Set up my 3 candles on the piano and shot with a tripod, of course, with slow exposure. The shot was feeling really blah to me, so I added some crystal goblets in the background. What a difference! Hello bokeh and reflections! This is one of the things I'm learning...try a different angle...add something or take something away from the shot. Sometimes a small change makes a dramatic difference.
