Rarer still...

It's even more rare that I give the camera to Kara and let her take a picture of me.  Ha! 

Rare...

It's rare, but once in a while I can actually shoot a semi wide angle shot. There are usually too many people.  I'm guessing we could do it here because everyone else was hanging out around the tulips.  lol

Purplemania...

And you know I'm going to have to shoot a portrait or two...especially if the purple lover finds a patch of purple flowers.  Which do you prefer?  Kara thinks she looks sleepy in the above photo, but I love it...looks dreamy to me.  But either way...that's my girl and I love her!

Koi pond...

And they have a new koi pond too....I love the energy of these photos...

Dallas Blooms 2016...

Kara and decided to take an impromptu trip to the Arboretum on a Sunday afternoon in March for Dallas Blooms.  It was really crowded, but there's nothing so beautiful as all those tulips. 

Domino...

We didn't want the "boy" to feel left out, so we took him outside for a few pictures in the backyard.  He can't stay out for more than a few minutes, mind you, because he would get sunburned.  That's what happens when your cat has no fur!  It was nice to get a decent shot of him in some outdoor light tho.  BTW...he walks on a leash now.  And he's been traumatized once by accidentally choking himself on the leash when he saw a bunny rabbit.  They had to put him in the bathroom for a while to calm down.  Thankfully, he's over it now and has successfully ventured outside again on the leash. 

Modeling 101...

Playing catch up...

I'm so far behind on the blog that it's not even funny!  These were taken mid February...hence the Valentine's outfits.  We surprised A and H by coming up to visit in time to walk to school to pick up H.  It was an unseasonably warm day, so we stopped by the neighborhood park on the way home for some fun play.  

New "do"...

She's showing off her new haircut.  Grammy even straightened it a bit which makes her feel like a big girl!

We took a little walk afterwards and she enjoyed posing on her favorite rock.  lol

Roll it...

Wow...I think it's been two months since I update the blog.  Oops.  Time got away from me!  We decided to make playdough with A last month.  She had a great time rolling it out.  Cracks me up that she has her fairy wings on too.
