"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:18)

The view from the top...

Took these at the top of the big slide (where they chose to play "house" for a few minutes).  Love the bright colors and their sweet faces.

Personality plus...

I'm still way behind on processing. These are from the middle of June, taking on our walk to the school.  These two sillies usually like to hug every stop sign, so I asked if I could take their picture.  The little one is showing us her sassy side.

Guess she's practicing her "gansta" pose.  I did not ask her to do anything...just asked if I could take her picture and this is what I got.  Ha ha!  This reminds me of a conversation we had on our last Grammy Day.

Grammy:  Abigail has SO much personality!
Hannah:  I have lots of personality too.
Grammy:  Um yes, you do Hannah.  Do you know what personality is?
Hannah:  No....

Ha ha ha!!!!

Laughter and Love...

These were taken while they were watching Domino (the kitten).  Love their uncontrollable laughter as they saw his antics.

And my favorite....so much love in this shot.  My ISO was still sky high so there's plenty of "noise", but ask me if I care.  I took the time to remove the logo from Bob's shirt because I didn't want anything distracting from this sweet moment.  Love them...

Kitten watchers...

I had to take a few shots of the littles as they watched Domino's antics.  Again, they're poor quality because of low light, but I love the one of Abigail and Bob.

Built for speed...

I've decided he must be faster than the average cat since he doesn't have any fur for wind resistance.  Makes sense, right?  We had fun watching him chase his nano bug....a little vibrating "bug" that creeps around the room.

Species confusion...

 It's a bat...

It's a rat...

Believe it or not, it's a cat.  Meet Domino, Jenny and Nathan's new Sphynx kitten.  He's quite a character.  They decided on a hairless cat to help cut down on allergies and so far, it's working.  He is playful and FAST, so I had a hard time capturing any photos of him...especially on a rainy day with little light.  My ISO was cranked sky high....so this is the best i could do.

Soft kitty, warm kitty...

Soft kitty, warm kitty
Little ball of fur,
Happy kitty, sleepy kitty,
Purr, purr, purr...

Yep...I had to quote Sheldon, just for fun.  We saw this little cat on our walk and he was so friendly.  And what a beauty!

Miss model...

Hannah is turning into a pretty good model.  I just LOVE shooting those blue eyes.  I only wish she would hold eye contact longer.  Her eyes typically flit towards me for a split second and then they're off looking in another direction.  I'm not always fast enough to catch them!

Tree hugging reindeer...

Yep, she's a tree hugger!

And I'm not exactly sure why, but she thought she needed to imitate a reindeer!

A Day in May

It's been a long time since I've posted!  I took these about a week before my recital, when I was too busy to edit and post.  I THOUGHT I would edit during my post recital vacation, but I fell at the gym and broke my wrist.  Oh well...  Thankfully, my cast was removed this week and I can finally use the computer mouse again.  LOVE these sister pictures.  And yes, the colors really were that vivid!  That's what happens when it rains almost every day in April and May.

I have no idea what Hannah said to Abigail, but it looks like they're sharing a funny secret!

Both girls looking at the same time...miracles do happen!

And this is my favorite.  Pretty sure this will be my next canvas print for my office.
