Happy to be inside again...

Yep...the girls are not really fans of the cold, but Jenny thought it was progress for them to play for a few minutes without crying.  Ha ha.  I couldn't resist one last shot of all the fun boots lined up to dry.  Abigail can finally walk in hers (which were WAY too big when I ordered them) and Hannah is ready for a new pair.  The green froggy boots have been worn for nearly 3 years I think.  I'm gonna miss those happy little faces. 

Snow throw...

I tried to get them to throw some snow in the air for a shot...you know, like Mary Tyler Moore throwing her hat in the air.  It so did not happen.  Ha ha!  Hannah closed her eyes every time and Abigail just dropped her snow.  Love Hannah's expression.  Reminds me of all the times we've played bubbles together.  This girl does not like for anything to blow in her face.

Snow day!

After our two ice days this week, we got another storm that gave us snow.  I'm really not a fan of winter, but I'll take snow over ice any day!  The girls are even less thrilled about being cold than I am, but at least no one cried this time.  When Hannah saw the top pic, she said "I look happy there!"  So cute!  Our gauge said we got 3.5 inches.

How yummy do these look?  Trust me...they were GOOD.  Just a little Nutella spread inside pic crust with cinnamon and sugar on top.  Easy peasy fun for preschoolers!

Roll it and pat it...

At the last minute, we decided to let the girls have fun with the leftover scraps while the hearts were baking.   This usually only holds Abigail's interest for a minute...UNTIL we gave her the rolling pin.  Then, it was a whole different story.  So serious about her rolling!  I'm excited because I just found child sized rolling pins with ball bearings on Amazon.  So, next time we do this, both girls can work at the same time.  Yay!
