Flowering tree...

Jenny and I read the name of this tree and then I promptly forgot! I think it's some kind of magnolia...tho' it looks very different than the variety we usually see in Dallas. I was disappointed we didn't have blue skies that day, but I still really liked this almost monochrome effect. Which background do you prefer...gray sky?

or the vivid grass?
