Simple, yet profound...

Yes...another macro. :) This pic was not cropped at all...amazing for the acorn to fill up that much of the frame! Don't know if you can tell, but I added a bit of texture to this. Just learned how to do that recently and really like the effect. In this case, I wanted to keep it subtle, so I lowered the opacity on that layer. Tomorrow I'll post a shot with a more obvious texture layer. (Quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson) Have to say, I really love this shot! It's one of my all time faves. I like the minimalism of it.
